No Call Out Fees!
Many local locksmiths have a hourly rate of £89.99 and then they add a call out fee or charge of £50 to £100. Mackay Locksmiths Chester Road Sunderland do NOT charge any call out fees at all. I see that as robbery in my opinion, We also do not have any other hidden charges. Many locksmiths will add fuel charges, wet weather or cold weather charges, they will charge a labour fee and a entry fee. They will charge you if they break a tool. We do not charge any of that nonsense. We absorbed all our costs in our labour charge of £55 for residential work and £65 for commercial work!
Pricing
We compared our prices to 12 local locksmiths and found our pricing to be one of the best for what you get. Our labour fee includes what others charge far. The labour fee covers fuel costs, it covers any sundries and damages to our tools. If we brake a pick picking your lock we wont add a charge of £25 for a new pick, its in the cost. Residential labour is £55 and Commercial labour is £65, contract work from £35.

You will be given a fixed price when we see the job and there will be no extras (unless for example your lock is substantially different than the one you describe for any reason on the call) – we do not charge VAT unlike 90% of our competitors who will add it on top only once they arrive and ask for payment.
We accept all methods of payment e.g. cash, credit & debit cards, bank transfer and Point of Sale Service via phone with our office. For every lock out or lock replacement service, Mackay Locksmiths Sunderland only provide British, insurance approved locks and locking systems.
Full warranty - All of our locks and hardware have a full warranty on all parts fitted. The only time a warranty is void is if we advise to change all parts of a problematic lock or system and you only want a part repair and we know from expertise that it will fail again and you go against our advice. Then no warranty will be offered at our expense.
